This strop is made from 2-3 oz kangaroo leather which is thin, firm, and smooth. A firm leather increases the likelihood that you will maintain a flat and consistent bevel.

The leather is mounted with suede side up on a cherry backer board.

No compound has been applied to this strop but let me know if you are interested in a first application.

Included with each strop purchase is a leather bib which is made from 6oz veg tanned (cow) leather and a custom mailing box.
